  • సమాజంలో విద్య యొక్క ప్రాముఖ్యత గురించి అవగాహన పెంచడం మరియు శాంతి, అభివృద్ధిలో విద్య యొక్క పాత్రను తెలియజేయడం అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యా దినోత్సవం (International Day of Education) ముఖ్య లక్ష్యం.

ఎప్పటి నుంచి?
  • 3 డిసెంబర్ 2018 న ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి సర్వసభ్య సమావేశం జనవరి 24 ను అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యా దినోత్సవంగా ప్రకటించే తీర్మానాన్ని ఆమోదించింది.
  • 2019 నుంచి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం జనవరి 24 వ తేదీన అంతర్జాతీయ విద్యా దినోత్సవాన్ని ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా జరుపుకుంటారు.
